Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Trialling a sleeping tablet @tyme but it’s only a short term med I think. And has a whole list of pretty horrible side effects, so fingers crossed I don’t have any of them!

I currently take the same antipsychotic I took many moons ago when I struggled with my mh. And was on a pretty high dose. I slept great! My pdoc seems to not want to increase the dose now.

@Bow

It is such a hard decision, especially since you have got so much happening in your life at the moment. No doubt the decision will be a hard one and either way we will be here to support you ❤️

I hope the new meds can help you hon, and can be the change that you need.

Please look after yourself, we are here for you through thick and thin 💕

Re: My Mosaic

It does sound like you have a lot of contend with @Bow . For me, a short term (1-3) day admission was a real circuit breaker. I didn't come out 'healed', but I came out ready to start again (if you know what I mean).

Somehow, I know a longer term admission wouldn't have helped. So the short term was really just a reset for me.

Re: My Mosaic

Yes @tyme a short term admission for a few days could be a good circuit breaker- my psychologist keeps reminding me of that, as long as I can keep eating and I stay in control.

I think a lot of people are concerned, given my history last year with 3 very serious attempts and how close I have come in recent weeks, they all want me in hospital 😩

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @tyme ill see how these meds go and what the long term plan will be.

do you ever worry about starting a new med at night?? Like what if you have a serious side effect or reaction to it and you are asleep and don’t know it?? Guess it would solve all my problems then eh

Re: My Mosaic

I don't normally have any issues with starting a med at night, esp if it is a sleep one! @Bow - if anything, I'd be hanging out for it!

Maybe your thoughts are running a million miles per hour?

Re: My Mosaic

Oh I’ve been hanging out for it all afternoon and I’ve been extra tired today too @tyme

you know something else, since mum now knows where I’m really at, I don’t really have to mask up! No more pretending I’m ok. It feels like such a relief.

my thoughts are running a fair bit wild tonight. Lots going on around in there. But have had my meds and hopefully sleep will find me soon
