Sorry @Bow I had a big day and feel asleep early.

Im glad she loves it and felt safer at home curled up with you. Maybe as she gets older she will be more comfortable with her dad.

As for you step-dad it’s going to be a long rocky road. If he starts to get violent you all need to do what is best to keep safe. Whatever that may be. But know we are here with you and will support you.

So things got so bad for you last night. I’m hoping for you that today will be a little better. Go easy on yourself and take care.

Here with you @Bow and sorry to hear you're having a bad day. Please try to find some ways to also be kind to yourself. It's pretty nice out, could you jump into some gardening or soak up a little bit of sun?

@Bow I can understand if maybe you've had a rough morning, it feels like there's no point even trying to be kind to yourself. But it's not too late. It's never too late. And it will be hard. But also, it will be worth it.

If you can. Don't berate yourself if you can't, but to me, it's always worth trying.
