My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

I hear that @Bow, it can be hard to find the right service and you don't need to apologise for saying why certain services aren't a good fit.

I hope the SANE chat opens up again soon ❤️

And I LOVE my spikey mat!

Re: My Mosaic

Yes @Paperdaisy i got a cheap one off eBay years ago but haven’t used it in such a long time. Someone was talking about it on here the other day so I pulled it out. Heaps good for grounding. Lay on it and focus on my breathing

Re: My Mosaic

so glad you love the mat too @Paperdaisy and @Bow!

@Bow, how are you feeling?

It seems like the counsellors are super busy.

If you're still feeling a bit raw, I'm wondering if you be up for a phone call to SANE to try get in the queue?

Or if you'd feel comfy reaching out to a webchat? I think I forgot to ask about Beyondblue webchat before

❤️

Re: My Mosaic

Do you think some people are marked when they are born?

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow, when things keep going wrong, I think it's understandable to think there's something that "marks us". I know I've felt that way sometimes.

Not sure if it's similar for you, but sometimes my brain gets stuck on all the reasons that the world is against me. But I've realised that's my brain/mental health stuff talking. What do you think?

When my brain does that, I've been using this app called How We Feel. it has some short exercises to help with thoughts like that.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow Am relieved to see you on here chatting last night ❤️ Like @Snowie said, I don't want you to leave. Maybe if you just stayed on your own thread and those of trusted friends, it would be OK for you? And please let me know if anything on my thread triggers you... You are important to me, and I care about you.

Sending more 💜 and wishes...

Re: My Mosaic

Sorry @Former-Member I feel asleep! Thank you for understanding what I meant… I wasn’t sure what words to use to explain it. I talked a tiny little bit about this yesterday with my psychologist, well not about being marked, but about there being things that I should have done to make him stop what he was doing, that I shouldn’t of been there in the first place. I did some art yesterday…. And I included my long time belief that I have been marked and that’s why it happened. That’s why all of them ‘events’ happened. Why else?? 4 seperate occasions, 4 seperate people. Those can’t all just be coincidences?? Surely I was born and marked to be an easy target?
