I sorry to read that your psychologist cancelled your appointment when you were on your way to see them today. That must of been disheartening for you. Can they reschedule in the next few days? Hopefully at least they can see you soon. I hope you are okay.

Far from ok today

I'm really sorry to read that you are far from okay @Bow. I can understand how difficult it can be when someone you really want to talk to cancels at the last minute. I hope you can get into see your psych again in the next day or two.

I do have an appointment booked for Wednesday with her.

My psychologist called me this afternoon, apologised profusely for cancelling at the last minute. She has offered me an appointment tomorrow morning as well as Wednesday to recommence exposure therapy. However she is very…. Hesitant in doing exposure therapy at the moment with my high levels of distress and dissociation. She needs my suds to remain within a certain level to be able to do it. We will see how tomorrow goes as to whether we will continue on Wednesday.
