Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow , oh, so you go quite regularly. Fair enough - makes sense.

So after the appointment, did you do anything?

Re: My Mosaic

I do go regularly @tyme … but I’ve seen my psychologist 3 days this week, for nearly 2hrs each session, doing this exposure therapy.
yes I needed to see my case manager today, not some random.

no I didn’t do anything afterwards, struggling to stay here

Re: My Mosaic

I'm here with you @Bow .

Is the psychologist through public area mental health? Or is it private?

Re: My Mosaic

My psychologist is through community mental health @tyme

I am very fortunate that I have found her, she is well trained in trauma and EDs and it doesn’t cost me anything.

Re: My Mosaic

That's very good to hear @Bow .

You are very fortunate. I also found my area mental health soooooo helpful. Having treating team through them meant I didn't have to repeat my story a million times which i hated doing!

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah, they can be good once you get into them @tyme they rejected my pleas for help many times.

Re: My Mosaic

Yes, @Bow . You are right. They are hard to get into, but once you are there - they will look after you. I know they have helped me.

Re: My Mosaic

Hearing how hard it is @Bow . Yet looking back at my own recovery, things that were hard were hard because they were doing something.

Maybe this is the way to freedom?

I'm riding this wave with you.
