I’m finding it really challenging being back at home. To start with, less than 5 hrs after we got home last night my mum found herself back at the hospital with chest pain. She’s ok. They didn’t find anything concerning, but it was a scary night not knowing anything.
We went and did the grocery shopping today. That was hard. I know that I need to eat to keep myself out of hospital, I need to buy food, but everything inside me has been screaming to restrict again. Found myself getting really depressed while at the shops. The internal arguments over putting food in the trolley or back on the shelf. Even what to actually buy. Is this something that I could actually see myself eating, feeling safe enough to eat???? I so often buy food with good intention, but then end up not eating it and then it’s just a waste.
i sent my psychologist a text this morning. I usually see her Mondays, so missed yesterdays appointment. I asked if she had any cancellations if she could fit me in. But I didn’t hear back from her. It’s been such a long time since I have actually seen her. I think I seen her twice after we got back from our holiday, and then I was either in hospital or she was on leave. Guess I’ll have to wait until Monday to see her.
i need to get my meds sorted out also. I need a letter from someone, either community mh or wait until Thursday when I see my gp, cause my meds changed while in hospital and I need to get them webster packed asap. Only have a couple of days worth of the old ones that I’m having to break open and change all around. Thankfully no new meds, just dosages and times have changed.
hopefullly my case manager is in tomorrow and she can get me a letter to take to the pharmacy.
well, it’s nearly dinner time. I’m not hungry, but have to eat 😩 I really struggle with the 3 meals and 3 snack thing. in recovery that is what is expected. But normally I don’t know if I would necessarily eat that much??? Does everyone else??
