My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

We sound like a bunch of rev heads watching the Bathurst race @Bow @Snowie

I lived in Bathurst for a few years so the race is a bit nostalgic for me. It used to be really wild with people camping on the mount for a fortnight before and only coming into town to buy more alcohol. We could hear the cars zooming around from our home.

Funny thing is I couldn’t care less who wins @Eve7 and not really that interested in it.

I have been to Bathurst though and did do a lap around the mountain. Would be cool to hear the cars in race day though.

I am not really into car racing. Just really had it on as background noise. Am watching Australia's got talent at the moment but don't think I will be long out of bed.

I’m not much into it either but having lived there it really takes over for a week or so @Bow @Snowie

We used to run around the mount and of course all our visitors had to pretend they were racing around it even though it has a 60k speed limit outside of race week!

@Bow the only thing I really watched today was a Turkish show with my mum and sister, but with subtitles since I can’t speak Turkish. I can pick up some words that are in common with my mother tongue though.

@Eve7 it’s been a rough one, just glade I got through it, just a bit more to go before bed. I hope you are doing well ❤️.

@Bow I’m not Turkish, my parents are Pakistani migrants, but our culture has some Central Asian (Turkic) influences.
