Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Heya @Bow sounds like your friend is really special and a big support. It's always your decision want you want to tell people. And it's ok if you don't want to tell her everything ❤️ Is there a reason you don't tell her everything?

What are you feeling about them encouraging you to go to hospital?

I know it can be really scary when people suggest a treatment we don't expect. But it sounds like you talked to them about what you're feeling and feel it could be good. What did they say?

Re: My Mosaic

They were asking me if I felt safe at home…. Whether I felt I needed to be in hospital…. I said I didn’t know.
they then spoke with my mum for ages… no idea about what. And then they left.

I don’t know what I feel about hospital…. Something’s gotta change though.

Re: My Mosaic

I know it’s hard @Bow . The hospital thing has been mentioned to me a few times but I’ve managed to get out of it. The closest hospital from here is 2 hrs away.

Have you considered the difference of going in voluntarily and involuntary?

Re: My Mosaic

Yep, I know the difference @Captain24

whatever they talked about I think mum is real worried now. I’m on my bike in my room and mum is in here watching tv with me 😩

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow I notice that you said something needs to change. It kinda shows me that you want to feel more safe ❤️ And a stay in hospital can be be a really good thing and a bit of a "turning point" for a lot of people. I don't know if you saw this thread a few days ago "What to expect from inpatient treatment" might have some interesting things for you to think about.

And I know it can be weird when our parents know things about our MH, but seems like she really cares about you if she is sitting in there with you ❤️

Re: My Mosaic

Even though it probably doesn’t feel like it right now but you are lucky to have your mums support @Bow . I’m fighting this on my own. However I’m sure you would like some space to get your head around what has just happened.

I’d like to be just left to die in peace

Re: My Mosaic

Sending lots of love @Bow and sitting with you in whatever decision you make.

Its hard to be in hospital as an involuntary patient and better to be voluntary with the ball in your court.
