Wow that's a big day @Bow . It must have been exhausting but also a relief it's all sorted now.

I hope you don't need prescribed pain meds. I do know what you mean about all the walking and hotel beds while on holiday. Now and then I seem to get a comfy hotel bed but more often than not, it's not too great. Hopefully your back will hold up.

You must be getting excited about your trip!

Thanks @hanami i hoping that cause I’ve been active that my back will be ok. Fingers and toes crossed! But the beds! I remember when I was in the Philippines the bed was rock hard, so I ended up sleeping on the couch.

oh yes, getting excited! So excited! I told my daughter this morning that this time next week we will be on the way to the airport. She was like aww, do we have to go on a plane? I said yep, unfortunately to get to UK we have to fly…. Or swim a very long time!

That is too cute! I hope she loves the flight! I remember how excited my kids got when they were little and flying somewhere.

Oh gosh I hope she loves flying as much as I do cause we got a lot of long flights ahead of us! Lol

i realised the other day… the way in which we are flying, we will be doing a full lap around the world!

Getting exciting now @Bow and I’m sure d will cope really well with the long haul flights 💜

please look after yourself

So I got drilled a fair bit today by my regular psychiatrist. She was concerned about me going away. I understand her concern… and my mums too. But I reassured her that I am feeling ok and that I feel confident that I will be ok- that was enough for her. She trusts me- to which I said thank you.

i went and picked up all my meds, I haven’t actually checked them, but I think they are all there. I was a bit worried about one particular one, but that one is fine. That’s another thing ticked off my list.

now I just have my dietitian appointment on Friday. And then my psychologist on Monday and then we are off.
