My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

@Wintersweet

i just don’t like crying, it feels out of control and I also don’t like mum to see it. She’d worry.

im feeling pretty hopeless this arvo. Desperate. The young SW I don’t really like msged me today. I simple said not ok. Crickets. Why?

@Bow

I’m really sorry she keeps asking and then not following up. I think anyone would find that distressing when they already weren’t ok.

I can really relate to not wanting people to see you cry when you know they’ll worry. Especially if it’s the kind of worry where you end up comforting them or where they try and take control to alleviate their own discomfort. And I hear you about it feeling out of control too. 💛

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow

Sorry to hear your day hasn't gone well hon. I get the not wanting to cry. I think sometimes we bottle it all up before it can spill over when the tank is full.

What's for dinner at your house?

I brought one of them Bao Bun kits from Aldi. Looking forward to having that tonight.

Re: My Mosaic

I've never tried that burger @Bow I must next time we are there.

I do like sweet potato fries better than normal ones.

Have you got any plans for tomorrow? Is it market day?

Re: My Mosaic

The baabaa has lotsa yummy sauce @Snowie can be a bit messy to eat but yummmm

yeah market tomorrow. Just packed the car up. I found some crates for my frames and was a bit worried about how they will fit, but they fit perfectly. No more worrying about the rain or dew on the grass and my boxes getting wet. Not sure how I’m gonna cope tomorrow. Not in a good head space and my fatigue has been next level. Really hoping to be able to crawl into bed once we get home. Mum better not be on the cleaning war path.

you got any plans?

Re: My Mosaic

I hope you enjoyed dinner @Bow We just had ours.

Hopefully the market goes well and you sell some of your stock hon. Bed would be very tempting afterwards especially with such an early morning start.

D has dancing tomorrow so at that all day. Sunday is her 21st Birthday so going out to tea for that. She didn't want a big party. Bit like me and doesn't like a lot of people around.
