thats good that she doesn’t have it then @Snowie and easy on the cake. Will probably get D an ice cream cake, she’s not a big cake eater.

D has done a couple of crash nights- where they sleep at school in classrooms. She loved that. And then last year she went and camped at taronga zoo! This one coming up will be 2 nights though.

@Wintersweet I was just scratching my head! I’m well overdue for a hair wash. And a shower! Fresh clean hair feels good doesn’t it?! What movies did you watch? Popcorn? D loves popcorn. I buy the microwave popcorn bags.

I always get an ice cream cake for H @Bow He loves them!

Hopefully she will be ok for the two nights away. I guess if anything happens they can always contact you.

It really does feel like such a chore, doesn’t it? Nice when it’s dry again but I hate having it wet.

We watched the first two episodes of Shetland which is basically a movie. I really like the Shetland series but I’d forgotten about a potentially triggering scene in that first story. Thankfully I think the other friend in the room who has struggled is in a pretty good place at the moment and seemed ok and I was ok too. We did have microwave popcorn which is always good.

Hope D has fun on her trip Bow. Wishing both of you all the best planning for the birthdays. An ice-cream cake sounds really nice.

hope you all are doing ok and your Sunday has been kind to you in some way.

I went to my favourite op shop this morning. The lady that runs it recently moved from this tiny little building into a massive warehouse. It was bursting at the seams and everything was on top of stuff, but I still enjoyed going and digging through stuff. Now it’s so spacious, she has been able to get a heap of furniture out of storage and everything has its place now. I found an Alice book, a pair of water shoes for D to take to camp.

I came home and haven’t really done much since. D is sick, she often gets snotty allergies, but this time it’s more than allergies, coughing and looks miserable. ‘What if I’m not better tomorrow?’ She asked me- well you can stay home. I tried to nap, but couldn’t sleep. D is currently curled up in my bed.

I have my usual Sunday dread. Another week. Wasted away.

Sorry that D isn’t well. I’m glad she has you there to care about her and reassure her that if she’s not better she can stay home. Hopefully if she’s sick now she’ll be well for her overnight trip.

The op-shop sounds like fun. I never knew there were so many versions of Alice! Your collection must be huge!

Feeling like the week has been a waste would be sucky, and I don’t want to minimise how you’re feeling, but at the same time I’m really proud of you for making it through and want to recognise all the effort you put in. 💛

Thanks @Wintersweet D is all that bit more huggy when she is sick, but she is worried about sharing her germs with me. My throat feels a bit off this afternoon so probably already got it. Mum swears by essentials oils, so have been putting it on the souls of my feet.

my Alice book collection currently sits at 259! There is so many more though.

My Sunday has been pretty chill which is nice but I’m super tired and dreading tomorrow a bit.

I’m about ready for bed @Wintersweet! But currently on the couch watching the block with my cat curled up on my lap
