My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Hey @Bow

crawling into bed sounds good to me. I’ll make us a cuppa.

D is a child, thinks like a child, talks like a child and repeats what she hears from others. Let her climb into bed with you tonight and she’ll snuggle right up with all the love her little heart can give you.

You’re important because you’re you and ultimately we have to realise that’s our reason to live because our life is important.

Re: My Mosaic

Today has been a little bit better. My anxiety has been manageable, but I still feel really flat and allowed myself to get upset again over the conversation that I had with my daughter a couple of days ago. I keep replaying it over in my head.

She's at her fathers for the afternoon, I've just had my first vax and am sitting waiting the 15 mins before I can go.

I seen my gp. She has put a note on my file that tells the reception ladies that I can call and speak with her urgently if I need to. She called it a TLC note. She's encouraged me to call her if I have SI, as another o.d could cause damage to my liver. Which I understand. She said that maybe she could organise a planned admission instead of doing what I have in the past and trip to the emergency department. She really is a lovely gp. Really cares.

im going around to my old pastors place after here. Pastoral care visits are permitted under lockdown. They got back from their recent trip last week, haven't seen them for over 2 months. Will be good to talk to them about what has been happening for me.

Re: My Mosaic

I am so glad you have such a caring gp @Bow who is willing to use some tlc.

Also, I hope the pastoral visit went well for you. It’s good to have people on your side hon.

Lots of love

Re: My Mosaic

Thank you @Eve7

I've just taken my meds and crawled into bed. I'm done with today. But I know tomorrow will be just around the corner. I really just want a break from it all. I'm tired... mentally... emotionally.

yes my gp is so lovely. I wish I could of been a tiny bit more honest with her today though. I just didn't want to take up anymore of her time considering I was only suppose to be there for the covid jab.

my visit with my pastors was alright. Felt a bit naughty going and visiting someone, but pastoral visits are allowed under our restrictions. I held back a bit, didn't want to tell them everything that has happened over the last couple of months, we didn't have a great deal of time and I'm just too ashamed.

anyways, I just need to try and sleep. Safest option tonight.
love to you @Eve7

Re: My Mosaic

Good morning @Eve7 did you get some sleep? I slept okish. And even got a sleep in. We have a free day today, we did extra school work each day so that we could have today off, but now d is nagging for the iPad. I told her she could have it at 10am.., 'but it's taking for hours'

hope your day is a little better 💕

Good morning @Bow

Glad you got some sleep last night and a bit of a sleep in today.

Have you got any plans for today at all?

Morning @Snowie @Eve7

ive just vacuumed and cleaned my room a bit. I still had my bag from my recent hospital stay to unpack too. Need to go to the chemist at some point today to get my meds- that feels like a walk of shame. Not much else planned.

how about you?

In response to: Re: My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Oh I picked up my meds yesterday from the chemist @Bow

Feel very self conscious walking in there. They know me by name now 🥴

Sounds like you have already done a few things this morning, well done hon.

Going to take the dog for a walk soon, sort of promised my psych yesterday I would so better do it before I back out!
