Well done for reaching out hon. I know how hard that can be, not knowing who is on the other end. I'm glad it helped even a little. Hopefully it's been a little quieter today.

Day been ok. H has been around so a little easier. Mum got herself worked up into a state last night so I ended up there for about 2 hrs this morning. Long story 🤦‍♀️Finally calmed her down. Then my brother visited her for a whole 30 mins. Hadn't seen her for 2 weeks and thats all he could spare. So had her on the phone listening to her complain. Deep breaths....

Any plans for tomorrow?

Yeah I hope everything gonna fit in the car on the way home @Snowie thats why I got the vacuum bags.

oh that’s not fair of your brother. Has he been like that for a while? It’s real unfair tjat so much falls on you.

we ordered Uber Eats for dinner… grilled. I really didn’t feel like going back out again. I’m tired and it’s cold!

we are going on a steam train in the morning. And then mum is catching up with a friend. Not sure what we will do while she is doing that and then will hit the road again mid afternoon to head back up north.

Just fed everyone. They were all home on a Sat night. Doesn't happen much!

Well hopefully the vacuum bags help compress some of it. Will it help with the books?

My brother has always been like that. Always about him except when he wants some money. Parents have bailed him out of so many financial problems over the years.

Uber eats is always a great idea. So much better if you don't have to go out again and stay nice and warm. We've got hail at the moment.

Oh a steam train sounds fun. How long is the ride for? Hoping D loves it.

I'm sure you can find an op shop or another book shop whilst your mum is catching up with her friend!

Watching the footy tonight. It's my team against H's team. Not much on tomorrow. Hoping for a quiet day.

just got back to our airb&b and raced in to put Lego masters on!

a lot of driving today and I’m exhausted. Train ride was nice, but we weren’t allowed to open the windows in the carriage so I couldn’t smell the steam… that’s all part of the experience for me and the memories I have.

my neck is a bit sore tonight. Stiff. Might heat a heat pack up.

have a busy few days coming up before we get on the spirit and head home.

Hope you got some sleep last night and neck isn't as sore.

Yesterday was ok. Spent most of the day washing and cleaning. At least the house looks better.

I hope the rest of your stay goes ok. Will be nice when you get back home hon. Back to your own bed and some quiet days ahead.

Having a rough day. Didn’t get much sleep last night, lota nightmares. But I just gotta hide it all from everyone but it so dang hard. My heads a real mess, a lotta thoughts and screaming noise

Feeling so flat today. Maybe everything is just finally catching up with me I am concerned about how I wil cope once back home
