im gonna head to bed though. I’m tired. My cousin got back to me and I’ll catch up with her tomorrow. We grew up together and were really close as young adults. Haven’t seen her … hmm gosh, 8 yrs maybe.

my brother was sent home not long after I signed off last night. His chest X-ray and bloods were all fine. Mum said he just wanted to go see the nurses! ( @AuntGlow my brother has been sick with a cold for about a week and was vomiting yesterday so off to the hospital. ) my brother actually can’t blow his nose much cause he can’t shut one of his eyes properly. Just another thing that he has to deal with! He still went and had his pre chemo bloods this morning and now just waiting to see if he is well enough for chemo tomorrow.

I wasn’t very well overnight, woke with a lot of nausea and kinda was sick. Then worried about further vomiting cause I had to be up early tomorrow take my other brother back to the airport, but thankfully was ok. It was super foggy driving to the airport, it was crazy and it got down to -2c and my car gave a ‘possible icy roads’ warning.

went and seen my cousin, which was really nice. She told me of a couple of good op shops to check out and after leaving her place we went to see the monkeys at Launceston city park. They have red faces and red butts. And then to some op shops and some more books!

D wants to go to the beach, but I just wanna relax a bit. I’m tired. My stomach has been giving me so much grief today.

I'm glad your brother's tests came back clear. Hopefully he is well enough for chemo tomorrow. Least he didn't have to spend the night in.

Yeah the no email notifications is annoying still @Snowie it’s hard to stay connected without them.

I’m fairly tired. I’m thinking ahead to when we get home and needing a few days in bed to recover from being so busy. It doesn’t feel like we’ve done much, but it’s the driving and always having to be switched on and masked up. It’s just D and I now at our air b&b so at least that is good.

yeah I really am gonna need another bookcase, I’m just not sure where I’d put it.

that was nice that your mum really enjoyed the visit from your D. It’s the small things eh.

im really sorry that today was rough and resulted in what it did. Really proud that you’re being able to reach out for some support when you need it. I know that’s hard.

It's hard and tiring always being around people @Bow and on the go 24/7. Having to put that mask on. Hopefully when you get back home you can have some downtime.

When do you go home?

The lady I spoke to wasn't much help but I guess it stopped me from doing more.

We go overnight on the boat on the 16th @Snowie and then back home on the 18th. D will go to her fathers on the 19th cause she was due to go on the 18th. I plan to do nothing while she is there! We see the spirit nearly every day cause we are so close to the dock. They don’t do day sailings over winter, not enough bookings, so it sits at the dock all day. Last night on the way home from the hospital it had just left and was turning around and blew its horn. Sounded cool.

glad it stopped you from doing more. It really can be hit and miss as to who you speak to. You’re very brave.

tomorrow if my brother has chemo we will go visit this really cool shop. Will have to take some photos. And then maybe go and see my dad 😳

Took mum down the supermarket this morning. She wasn't in a great mood.

Few times I had to count to 10 in my head and calmly answer her!

Home now, some washing but thats about it.
