My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Online games were actually part of legos down fall @tyme they had too many hands in the pot. So they cut back the gaming and just focused on what they did well… and that was Lego bricks but they collab with brands- Star Wars being the biggest.

yeah heading straight to geelong really. Taking the spirit over to tassie. And we did legoland in Windsor and stayed there 2 nights…. Couldn’t be any better than that eh?

mum nagged this morning, so I went to the chemist and got some cold and flu meds….. they have helped a little bit I think. Ear is still crackling and popping though.

what you do today?

Re: My Mosaic

Not too busy here either @Snowie D has zone cross country tomorrow, so will try and get down to watch that after groceries. Gosh I’ll be exhausted after that! Got my psychologist on Thursday and my new CM straight after that. Market Saturday.

Re: My Mosaic

Hopefully you will start to feel better @Bow so you can go tomorrow. I'm sure D will love having you there. I remember those days!!

That will be interesting meeting your new CM and seeing what they are like.

Hoping the weather is nice for you on Saturday. I'm assuming rain means less people too.

Re: My Mosaic

Afternoon @Snowie

yeah I got my groceries done, meds picked up and had to go into Kmart too for some kitty litter. I was shattered afterwards. Felt pretty miserable this morning, if I didn’t need kitty litter ( cause it’s bin night and I changed it) I would have left it all until tomorrow maybe. But was out, so might as well of got everything done. And yes, made it to watch D run her cross country. Signed her out afterwards and she came home with us.

SW came by. She asked what has helped in the past… I told her having people I trust around. People who have created a sense of safety. She asked when I see my CM next- told her Thursday after my psychologist. She told me that they usually like to attend appointments with CM…. Hmmm not the case with me. That’s my time with my CM. And my old SW knew that, so much so that if my SW tried to come into that space with my CM my CM would cut that appointment very short and then reschedule it for another time or call me privately to talk.

i finished the mushroom Lego set just a bit ago. It looks cool.

how are you today? You been up to much?

Re: My Mosaic

Well done @Bow on getting everything done. Hopefully that means tomorrow can be a rest day and don't have to do too much.

Hopefully if your SW shows up for that appt. then your CM can tell them that they are not needed and can talk to you afterwards if thats the case. It would be a shame for you not to be ale to see your CM. I'm sure there is lots to talk about with all the changes happening.

My day ok. Took Izzy to vet this morning just for vaccination. Got a clean bill of health thankfully.

Other than that been on the couch with two jumpers, blanket and heater on. Hasn't gone above 11 here and rained constantly. On a good note there has been snow 😁

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah just a rest day tomorrow I think @Snowie and Wednesday.

I hope my CM will tell her to leave if she tries to come in. I really don’t want her coming in. Otherwise I’m gonna have to try be brave and speaking up.

you don’t mention Izzy much…. What kind of dog is she? She not far from your side when your on the couch?

winter is finally here! I really noticed the chill factor yesterday and last night. I didn’t sleep with the fan on! I’m excited for tassie and the cold! Layers, beanies, scarves and all that cozyness. Winter here is hardly that cold unfortunately. Rarely get a day time temp in the single digits. Do you have snow trips booked?

Re: My Mosaic

I hope you are able to speak up for yourself @Bow if needed. I do realise how hard that can be though.

Izzy is a cavoodle. We got her when the kids were about 8 and 10. She is a good dog for people with asthma/allergies, that S has.

She sleeps on our bed, spends most of the time inside and is spoilt!

My kids say she is the favourite child. I tell them that cause she can't speak back and doesn't cost me as much!😁

It gets cold here too but not like the snow. We have one big trip booked and then lots of weekend trips. Hopefully it's a good season.

You might get some snow whilst in Tassie!

Re: My Mosaic

Hopefully @Snowie

@oh a cavoodle! They are cute looking dogs and a lot of people raise them as therapy dogs I think. An old friend breeds them and every time she posts the litters I’m like arghhh so cute I want one.

fingers crossed for all the snow then for you!!

yes maybe some snow at cradle mountain would be good. Would totally do the drive to see some.
