@Snowie Yeah cereal ain’t cheap these days… especially the milo stuff my D eats… like $9 a box usually. And it MUST be the duo one and not the plain milo, otherwise I could get it from aldi!

Not a great deal of crafting. I cut and glued a few things, spent a lot of time just flicking through magazines and looking for stuff but no idea what I was actually looking for. I have been very distracted today. And feel like I have no avenue to be heard or supported irl. I’m safe keeping my hands busy the best I can.

oh…. One pleasant thing this arvo, I did a couple of pre orders from bigw for the June 1st Lego releases and I got 2 sets delivered today. A couple of days early from release day!

Aldi does help but there are some things I can only get from coles (we don't have a woolies)

It's hard not being heard hon and feeling like you can't express yourself. I'm glad your safe but do realise even that is hard work at times.

More lego, that sounds like fun. You're gong to have to make room for all the new lots.

Most likely an early night. H said something about going out for tea but pj's sound like a much better idea.

Even though I would rather be by myself I get lonely during the day.

Being by myself means I don't have to use up so much energy pretending like everything is going ok so in that way I like being alone. But at the same time I wish H or someone was around.

Even when others are around I can still feel lonely, even in a room full of people.

I have talked to my psych about this and she said it is ok to feel this way.

It might also have to do with me not really being comfortable around people too. I've never been a people person, never had friends growing up, was and still is the outsider. The only people I socalise with are H's friends. Even then I feel like the odd one out.

What am I working on at the moment @tyme ? Trying to get better! Got a horrid cold. Nose. Cough. And now my ear. Tried to use one of them saline nose irrigations last night and whatever I did it hurt my ear. Ear/throat/neck glands are all swollen and lotsa pressure. I slept most of the afternoon.

my cricut rollers…. They are still good. I have a maker 4 and the rollers are different on this one compared to the older model I got. The newer ones aren’t such a rubbery feel. More solid. I think too many people complained perhaps? But I do still have replacement rollers to do the the older model and then sell it. One day!

I’ve been doing a bit of art journaling. Slow project. Don’t have much motivation to do anything really.
but I did do some Lego late this arvo. The yet to be released water lilies!

@Snowie sorry I didn’t reply to your message from yesterday, I’ve not really felt up to it. But I want to. And I will. I very much relate to everything that you said though.

Been on a few big projects @tyme Just helping H, got a lot happening. By the end of it I am normally buggered!

Day not so well

Awwww. Sorry to hear you are not well @Bow ! I recently got my covid booster and flu vax... Ive been having a lingering headache, but not sure if it's from that. Today is prob the first day I haven't had a headache!

It's great to hear that you have been doing some journalling. It can really help get thoughts down on paper. I used to journal, but I stopped after moving to victoria. I just dont' have the time and don't feel I really need it.

The water lilies lego sounds awesome! I love the botanicals and the flower lego they have released. It's just so clever. I also like the retro collection.

When you think about it, it's so amazing that lego continues to exist today.

Don't forget to visit legoland if you ever come to Melb!

Mum said the same thing today @Snowie …. Do I need to go to the gp? I was fairly miserable today. And just really annoying. I could probably find somewhere tomorrow, but I’ll wait til Monday and go to my gp clinic then. Mum kept saying to go down to the chemist to see if there is anything I can take, but I’m pretty sure with the long list of meds I’m on there isn’t really much I can take.

the water lilies look really good. I’ve got the mushroom set too here, might do that tomorrow. And then I have another order from bigw that is expected to arrive on Monday. And then….. lol…. I need to go into the city and get the new Alice in wonderland brickheadz set. The brickheadsz are only available at LEGO stores, they don’t sell them in Kmart or bigw. I want to do a click and collect to make sure I get them…. But I love to go there and wander and pick my sets myself lol.
