My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow yep makes sense that the pdoc has to prescribe it as they need to submit Authorised Prescriber paperwork to do it.

I wonder whether any of the hospital psychiatrists have an existing Authorised Prescriber approval for that specific med to be used off-label for TRD. It could be worth asking, as the hospital *will* have a pdoc available for inpatient consults 😊 (even if it were a wait of up to a day or so). If they do - that could be a possible temporary solution.

(Auth. Prescriber the doc has to report which patients they use the medication for, but dont usually require pre-approval. Where as Special Access Scheme medications they require pre-approval per-patient each time. 😊)

I hope the hospital stay goes OK.

How do you feel leading up to it?

Re: My Mosaic

Yes @AlwaysMyself i will be asking if all of my current medications will be continued when i go into hospital, including this one.

i am very anxious about going into hospital. I’ve never really had a ‘planned’ admission before. I’ve always gone in via ambulance and usually sectioned. Although I still do have to go in via the ED for this, which is really frustrating. There are a long list of unknowns that keep floating around in my head which makes my anxiety worse. It all feels very out of my control, which then triggers my eating disorder even more than usual, which can’t happen. Everything really needs to run smoothly or I can potentially be at high risk of becoming medically unstable.

Re: My Mosaic

oh dear @Bow rain and an outdoor market do not mix.

I guess at least you hadn't set everything up when you made the call (or D did)

Hopefully the rest of the day can go ok.

Up to much now?

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah markets aren’t fun in the rain @Snowie especially with my art stock, it would get ruined if it got wet. I actually need to try and find some proper crates to store and transport my art in. At the moment I’m using boxes that fit perfectly! And they fit perfectly in the Tetris car packing- that’s why I keep putting it off.

mum and I went to bunnings briefly- got a clear sealant for the coffee table and some pink spray paint for the drawer knobs. I’ve done the knobs and 2 coats of the coffee table. One more to go. I’ve spent a fair bit of time just sitting on the couch. Way too much thinking Snowie.
Lota sad heaviness

how are you? What ya been up to?

Re: My Mosaic

Good on you for getting through such a huge day yesterday @Snowie @sounds like a lot.

im on the couch now. We went to church this morning. Then went to my brothers place afterwards. It was a much more pleasant visit thankfully.

i woke up around 5am with a really bad headache. Got up and took some rugs and warmed up a heat pack and was thankfully able to get back to sleep. But still feeling headachy

Re: My Mosaic

Ohhhhh @Bow that looks so pretty

You amaze me with what you can do with a piece of furniture.

I saw an old antique dressing table on market place yesterday. Thought of you straight away, thinking what you could do with it.

What is the next project?
