My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

I wonder if it is helpful to try reaching out on some of the social threads? @Bow Only if you feel it could fill some of the loneliness.

As for your CCC, It sounds like she is doing the real CM work rather than therapy. I was always confused because I had a CM that was a clnical psych so I had treatment sessions weekly with him. I later learnt that this wasn't his role so when I got a new CM, I had to change my expectations a bit.

@tyme I just really struggle to keep up on the social threads. And then I get frustrated with myself

as for my CCC…. She has never given any indication that she could do any kind of therapy with me. My SW definitely mentions it though, especially while I don’t have a psychologist my CM could be doing some kind of therapy. But no.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh that’s nice @Eve7 his new house a bit of an upgrade from his previous? Do you get there very often?

oh I haven’t tried a hungry jacks chai…. I do rather like the McDonald’s one though, both the hot and iced.

just sitting on the couch watching the new Jurassic park movie that came out on Netflix today. D was here too watching but she has disappeared like usual. I’ve finished off making a journal too and building some Lego flowers.

is the weather nice up there today? We’ve had rain today, much needed, but of course after we watered everything last night

Re: My Mosaic

Yes, they bought a rather fancy duplex @Bow Im trying to visit every second weekend.

It’s really hot here today but we’re supposed to get rain later in the week. The garden sure needs it.

Re: My Mosaic

Fair enough re the social threads @Bow . I just don't like it that you feel you have to be alone with all those thoughts.

Or maybe tagging a few other members when you are feeling a bit vulnerable and lonely? You know we all care.

Yeah, I don't think it is the job of a CM to do therapy. Then again, I wonder why they choose clinical psychs to be CMs??? When I was discharged from one CM (because he was moving to another role), I was referred to another CM who was also a psych. What I liked about Case management is that I didn't have to retell my story again and again. And if I phone triage, then they would know. They could also admit me to PARC and CCUs when I needed it...

That was the benefit of Case management.

My CM actually said that I was a one off because they don't normally keep people on case management for BPD. It's usually those with schizophrenia etc that they keep on.

IDK...
