Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Getting an induction stove and two drawer dishwasher @Bow and replacing all cupboards with drawers. The things you use to chop up food will be hanging and a wine rack.

I haven’t heard about any new mh clinics.

Re: My Mosaic

There’s none near me @Bow but we do have a good service at the hospital that bypasses normal ED.

Ill be interested to know what you think of it.

I’ll be sure to report back @Eve7 hopefully a place that I could potentially go to.

it’s been super hot here today and I haven’t drank enough and now have a headache.

Re: My Mosaic

It’s been super hot here too @Bow and I’m just drinking some water now.

Normally I see pdoc on Thursdays but she’s away for a few weeks so I’ll just do some uni work and go shopping for a new computer as mine has crashed. Another expense 😬

Re: My Mosaic

Cooled down here a lot now thankfully. Opened the house up to cool it down some before bed.

just been down to fed mumma taylor and let the babies out for a play. They are developing their own little personalities now which is really cute. They don’t like being put on their backs, but they will come over and instigate play and Will happy roll around on their backs.

im struggling tonight with decisions I have to make. I capped myself with a limit for something. My SW will ask me about it tomorrow because I asked her to. I need people to keep me accountable. But I’m have this small voice in my chest that tells me to stick to the number and then this big loud screaming voice that says she’ll be right. I failed last night because it was such a terrible night. I disappointed myself. And I was scared to be honest with my SW today, but I told her the truth and she just had loads of compassion. Today’s a new day she said. But what if I fail again tonight?

Safe

would be nice to not feel so alone and some encouragement

Heya @Bow !

Great to see you! Thanks for those adorable photos!

It sounds like you are grappling with a lot at the moment. I hear there is hesitation and anxiety about your appointment.

As much as those pplayful kitties are bringing you so much joy, what would be helpful from the community at this time? What does encouragement look like for you?

I believe in you @Bow . You are a real inspiration to many. We are here for you - you are not alone.

Well done for being honest with your SW. I appreciate it takes a lot of courage to do this.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @tyme

thanks for responding. I appreciate it.

i just don’t wanna let my SW down. Don’t wanna disappoint her. She’s been so understanding and willing to help me with this. But it’s always a screaming match in my head over it every time.

not entirely sure what encouragement could look like, but I don’t have much confidence in myself at the moment. I fail a lot of things lately and do the wrong thing and cause people problems.

as hard as it is, I need to be…. Have to be honest with her. Not going to get anywhere if I don’t.

Re: My Mosaic

I'm so proud of you @Bow . I know the strength it takes to make these huge steps.

You hold the key @Bow , and sometimes, we just need that little nudge in the right direction to unlock the gate to recovery.

I hope there comes a time when you can truly and honestly say that you want to do it for yourself - because you deserve all the love and compassion you can get. I know that is hard at the moment to see this (with all the 'noise' in your head), and you may need an external person to support, but I believe that one day, you'll be able to do it for yourself.
