My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

I wish that there were word that would make me feel ok. Words that would make me feel better. Feel healed.

Truth is your words are drowned out by the words inside my head. Words that remind me that I am not ok.

Self hatred and disgust scream loud all day long. They are the words I hear as the sun rises and the last words I hear when my head eventually hits the pillow.

As a little girl I was always taught that words would never hurt me. But we all know that is a lie, words destroy the soul, they shattered the inner person leaving behind brokenness and despair.

Words never leave me alone, whispering but often screaming loud, driving me to isolation, no one understands the storm inside my head.

Often leaving me frightened and overwhelmed words need to be expressed, turning into scars on pasty white flesh.

I beg for them to stop or even just to turn down the volume so they aren’t quite so loud. Words inside my head.

It was interesting @Bow but I didn’t have a lot to do so I caught up with staff I haven’t seen in ages and did some service monitoring.

I have a Psych appointment in the morning and ECT on Wednesday. So much to look forward to lol
