How do I do this please. I woke up two seeing two very antagonistic, angry, accusatory, judgemental and abusive notifications from a member in my private email. I see the post has been deleted, damage done though. This is unacceptable and I think they need their own help. I want to block this member. I don't need that online or offline. Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying, regarding the subscriptions and notifications. I will contact via email about this one I think, thank you for the email address. I am aware that SANE does not tolerate abuse or disrespevt on the forumn and it is a good idea not to. It can have such serious impacts for a lot of people on here.

Oh yes, I have no doubt it happens on here and occassionally, you will get some people who go beyond just editing their posts. For me it was the vulgarity and for a person of that "apparent calibre" toting that they are some hierachal spiritual advisor with a message for the world and humanity, that got to me the most. While that may be true, I would be concerned if any "supposed leader" was treating anyone the way this person did. I would have no qualms in telling them very directly they need to work on their ego BIG TIME, and they need to seriously also get some help if they thought it was OK to treat people like this person did.

@Bunniekins it would be a good solution. I can see how their would be negatives to it as well. It could cause a lot of extra problems for members and moderators. Sometimes people take their personal stuuf public (ie these forums) "friends" could block and unblock each other at will and that can aslo cause a lot of problems. There are negatives and positives that come with it. I suppose a solution to that would be to caution people that if you block someone that is it, you cannot unblock them. The decision is final? Could be a solution?

@PowderfingerBlocking for me isnt a form of attack but a form of self protection. This one person who attacked me when I was trying to help I do not want to talk to them ever again. Blocking is not a form of punishment but a form of self preservation. peaxx

I understand completely. I was looking at blocking people as a whole idea for the future of thus site. I've written to sane. See what happens.
