How do I block a member that is upsetting me?

You don't need that sort of thing at any time but especially not now when you have been battling so much

I don't know if you can block one member from your private email in-box but you can block getting any emails from the website and just use your notifications inside -

If you go back to your settings and profile you can stop getting your notifications in emails - I use this method and it works for me - I never see anything that has been moderated unless I happen across it in the site because I am there at the time

I am sorry this has happened - I wish you the best - I have just had an operation and I haven't responded to many people for a while - but I read your messages and I was concerned - we can all only do what we can and whatever we do - that's fine

Yes I agree with you @Powderfinger , I got same email notification I think. Or one of them at least. I'm sorry it has upset you, as it did me being brought into a conversation I had not taken part in at all. I hope you can work through the damage done. Wishing you well.

I am so sorry to hear the negative experience you have had as a result of reading another member's posts. We do not tolerate disrespect or abuse on the forums, which is why those messages have been removed. However I completely empathise that, having already been exposed to them, you have been deeply impacted.

Unfortunately, members cannot block another member on the forums, however you can unsubscribe from certain threads so that you no longer receive notifications for them. You can do this by going to your profile > settings > subscriptions & notifications > and then untick the threads you no longer wish to be notified about.

I did not see it, but have seen things in the past. It is part of the issue of a forum to all comers. Some people and I also have edited posts as a privacy and confidentiality issue, but this is different. Take good care while you gather up your resilience and bounce back.

Yes, it is not right being bought into a "dictation" that you were not even part of. It was not pleasant to read. It was early in the morning when I read it, I was fuming with said person. I had to go to work and did not get home till late afternoon, so I am gald it was not on my mind all day.
