Hi,
I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

I'm feeling quite depressed and anxious atm.
And wondering if we can talk more about it because I find it a real struggle to talk about.
I seem to wake up and feel worse after sleeping and not until I start to do something do I start to feel better. But I often stay in bed until I have another nap.
I struggle with my sister in law and how she treats my parents and what she has said. I remember being at the shops with my brother and SIL and they were looking for a present for my mum and my sister in law- remarked that my mum is not that special. And she said that about me too when we are looking for somewhere to eat and she remarked to my brother that I am not that special and meaning that place to eat was too good for me. I would never talk like that about anyone or to them.I never said anything at the time nor did my brother. What are your thoughts?

Do you have lots of nightmares or dreams? Thst could be msking you wake up terrible?

I would feel quite hurt and upset by comments such as you describe @oceangirl . I am sorry you were subjected to such a show of disrespect. You deserve better. 😔🌷

People are strange and weird but it hurts more when it comes from those within family.
Could you raise it with them? Could you say to them - hey I don't appreciate your tone or the way you speak speak to me

I'm reminded of instances where that has happened to me from friends @oceangirl
Its easier to say that I can confront someone about it but I chose not to most of the time - more stress than necessary. I've noticed it ina friend of mine. I believe his attitude can also be put down to drug usage though - a side effect

Hi @oceangirl I was thinking of you the last couple of days with talk on another thread about having a Beach Party, wanted to tag you but not quick enough but will if it takes off.
I'd be offended too with your sil's comment "not that special!" Who says that stuff? Surly she was referring to the price of THE ITEM being beyond what SHE could afford. Its about her, not you or ya mum Oceangirll.. you're pretty special here with us you know 😃
