Checking In
Hi,
I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

I am not sure if you remember but Milo has been through a lot
Emergency vet stays
Emergency surgeries (Bloat)
Numerous test scans etc
Four major surgeries
Three minor surgeries and not sure about the airway surgery/ nostrils - that could have been painful for him.
And I have probably missed something
It was what the specialist surgeon said and because of all that he has been through, its made him quite stressed. And that stress response came on quite quickly for Milo. His assistant put Milo in quite a firm hold yesterday and initially afterwards he seem ok with her and then she wiped something up and he was hard tell what he wanted to do (play etc). In the end he didn't like her.He did say something to her when she did that but it was more the comment that he made that he was strange and that he had not seem a dog urine mark in consult room, they do urine mark outside. And it was vinyl floor too. It just makes me upset, poor fella has been through enough.

I have had some fluids from 3pm probably not enough. But I have not drank much more in the morning because I slept in today.I have to wait after eating to drink because of my surgery two years ago. I will try to drink more before bed.@BlueBay

I was lucky that I had some say over who to use as my vet, even though I go to a teaching vet hospital for all consults. It made a big difference to Patch and I that we dealt with one person in the last few years. Helped me trust.
