Checking In

Hi,

I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

Re: Checking In

Whi knows re vets @oceangirl too costly to bother with in general.
I grew up on a farm . Vet was only for certain things like potential loss of calf and cow at same time eg

@Appleblossom

Thank you for your message

and hugs for Kira and Milo

I know after my surgery I was very sick for the first week and needed IV fluids. The nausea could be because I am dehydrated and I should be drinking more water throughout the day (sipping). Because when I was in hospital drinking fluids helped- I couldn't drink water though at that time. I had to be able to hold 1.5 litres for a day to be able to go home. And the only thing I could drink was gatorade (watermelon). It was only the last 48 hours prior to going home I started to drink more fluids.

I'm not in a good place to rehash what happen last month but I know it was not a good relationship for me. I have learnt from a long time ago to be my best friend. I was not comfortable with this person and it was best for me to move on.

and thank you for kind words and support- it means a lot to me.

Re: Checking In

Good you have moved on @oceangirl Good you befriend yourself well.

It makes sense to feel outrage when we witness unkindness to beings/animals we love. I know a few vets and they love animals, but there are some who should not be in it ...probably just for the money as @TAB suggested.

I dont have any pets at the moment nor am I going to the zoo, but I am really enjoying the birdlife and other people's dogs.

Makes sense peppermint tea feels/tastes/seems good. It is one of my favourite herbals, more than green and chamomile tho I have those a lot.

Re: Checking In

@TAB Farmers don't like to use vets because they are so expensive

or if the cattle eat the wrong thing and things get stuck in there stomach

I didn't grow up on farm- whereabouts did you grow up?

I grew up NSW central coast- nice part of the world
