Checking In
Hi,
I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

Glad you have a supportive dr
I am going for a swim tomorrow
And I will make a few phone calls regarding possible admission. They do test patients prior to admission. Whereabouts are you in Qld?

@TAB I was referred from another specialist to my surgeon. You could ask if he will do it with no gap and he might say yes. Or research different surgeons in the city and you might find someone. All the best.

okay @oceangirl I was passed down the line from cardiologist, had to go to public hosp as near died, then back to cardiologist, then sent to haematologist re throid thing that was found when looking at heart. had FNA which was inconclusive
then referred to Endocrinologist who said doing 2nd FNA, then got call from surgeon 2 hours later claiming he had a ph appt w me and was looking at an emply chair and that he had discussed everything with them(they said nothing, complete 180)
anyway said was going to remove it and about 6month wait which is prob up by now but will be full of covid soon so prob never happen now
ok asked him re gap he said prob $7000 and not to do it, just wait

Just follow up about the wait time , you never know hopefully not affected by covid @TAB It sounds serious and I hope your GP can sort this out and organise for it to be removed.
