Checking In
Hi,
I'm not doing so well. Didn't have a good appointment with psychatrist today and because I am struggling, it is difficult for me to open up.

I'm just going to do a quick check in because I am struggling with my energy levels. I'm not sure if it is fatigue or daytime sleepiness? Nevertheless I am frustrated by it and started to get a bit concerned about because it has been going on for a while now. I have a blood test to have tomorrow to check my parathyroid and vitamin D levels.
As anyone else experience this and how did you manage it and was there a underlying cause for it? Anyways I hope you guys are travelling along ok and will talk to you all soon. Take it easy OG

Hi @oceangirl
What is your diet like?
For me, I have to eat a high protein, complex carbohydrate diet to have enough energy. I was on a low carb diet for about three years but it wasn't giving me enough energy.
My body needs complex carbohydrates and meat protein.
Also, I don't know how old you are, but could it be peri-menopause? Peri-menopause started for me at about 44. I'm 50 and I'm still in peri-menopause but I'm on hormone patches now. I love them.
Also, when my sleep patterns are out of whack (staying up all night/sleeping all day) I have low energy.
