I'm just so frustrated with myself. I cant open my mouth and let out the stuff that i want to say when i see my psychologist (or psychiatrist) and then everything i should have said goes around my head and feels worse. and everything they say i turn around again because i didnt really say what i needed to say so i cant believe what was said. Im so constantly anxious at the moment, having panic attacks and just blowing things out of proportion because of the anxiety, always feeling overwhelmed. Nightmares when i sleep are so bad but confused with so many things now and im so tired but dread sleeping. life is just too much sometimes!
I know its ridiculous but i wish there was a 'cure' a shot or pill that really did get rid of all the dodgy thinking/anxiety/depression so that i could somehow deal better with the crap that life throws.

Re: frustrated with myself and losing it to anxiety
@lidajane. Thats a hell of a lot to cope with at once. And our need to be a mother lion to protect our children, while dealing with that ex. I tip my hat to you that you still have anything in your bucket. The heights you will be able to soar, once settlement and DV is sorted out. My best friend had an abusive husband like that & he almost sucked her soul dry. But she's slowly gathering strength & is just starting to be able to focus on her past issues (prior to husband). I'm sorry you have to go through this on top of your previous issues, but when you manage to get through it, & you will, what a powerful lesson to show your daughter. Strength resilience persistence. I'm guessing sleep is not the best with all these nightmares. And your tired brain - no wonder it's adding all stresses together in your nightmares. Is your child old enough for you to have a night or two with sleeping tablets. Just to give the brain a rest. I find my nightmares stop when I'm on sleeping tablets, but my child is 14 & able to cope if an emergency occurred. I hope you are able to have some special you time this weekend. Maybe with a friend or two.

Hi @Former-Member,
Im so sorry everything is really difficult at the moment. It must feel impossible to hold on with so many things firing and causing strong emotional responses all at once but I have faith you'll battle through it. I really wish that the things with your ex would get sorted so you can start again. You are so very brave having to do this all by yourself. You are a true survivor. One day I believe good things will happen for you.
I was just wondering if you have a lawyer sorting out your settlement stuff as well. I couldn't face my settlement with my ex and now it's past the time (only two years). I'm not able to get a lawyer or go to court over mine unless I can prove my mental health was the reason why settlement hasn't happened within two years. I should be able to do this but have not been able to mentally go there yet.
Thinking of you and sending strength hugs to help you through this extra hard patch💜😊💐
