Need to vent

Need to vent

Hi everyone

I need to vent!!

I'm not coping

I'm not enjoying my new job. It's mundane, boring and triggering. For those who don't know, I was made redundant in my pharmacy job 4 days before Christmas. I then found a casual job at a supermarket. The job I do is very boring. I have far too much 'alone' time at work so my mind wanders to a lot of stuff. I asked my supervisor if i could learn the registers as thats what i would love to do. she replied that she couldn't until next year, don't know why as we are so short staffed and they need extras.

They advertise extra shifts or replacing a shift on facebook, which i really hate. but that's how they do it. i asked my supervisor if i could pick up extra shifts even though i don't know the registers. she replied yes thats fine that i would still do cleaning.

The other day a staff member posted she needed someone to do a shift. i was the first one tyo reply and accept the shift. another girl replied after me. the staff member replied back to me saying she would give that shift to the second girl as i don't know tyhe registers. I was so annoyed, angry and then upset. I feel used, and discriminated.

The problem is I am 'too scared' to confront my supervisor and ask again as i don't want the other member to get into gtrouble. so this means that i can't get any extra shifts until i learn the registers.

it is so wrong

the other issue i am having is seeing the old pharmacy customers. it's not an issue in that i see them, they love to talk. some still didn't know i had gone!!! but each time i see them and they say 'oh i am sorry to what happened to you' i get upset, hurt angry at the new owners. i miss the girls i used to work with and the job.

working for a much much bigger organisation is hard. there is so much clicks, so much politics and crap. i try to go in and do my job and go home.

but with so much time on my hands at work i start to think negatively.

i have recentyly had terrible vertigo, a 5 day migraine and today again another headache. i decided to call in sick and was spoken to so rude and short by the supervisor. it's like she doesn't believe me when i call in sick. and my anxiety is extremely high in having to ring her.

i don't have the confidence to leave and get another job. i feel i am not good enough

i am sorry to vent, i know a lot of you are struggling with your own issues. and that i should be thankful that i do have a job, as a lot of people have lost theirs.

Re: Need to vent

Pain in my abdo is getting worse. I have a feeling it's a flare up of diverticulitis. I wasn't sure if its a CPAP machine I am trialling. Called my GP this morning and he said to come in so he could examine me.

He said it's possibly another flare as I am nauseous as well. He has given me some strong antibiotics and nausea meds too. My back is still sore as well and GP thinks it's all related to diver.

Just as well i am seeing my gastroenterologist tomorrow morning; he can decide if i need to go to hospital or not.

haven't eaten much today.

i am trialling a CPAP machine for a month as my results came back as severe sleep apnea. I was having 74 apneas in an hour, which is quite high. Now after 4 days of using the machine I am only having 1-2. What a big difference.

I think my body is telling me to slow down, i have had a very busy few months and i feel very emotional at times. But with sleeping better now hopefully things will improve.

I'm home alone enjoying the quietness and stillness of things. i think i might go now and watch a bit of tv.

catch up soon

hi my dear friends @BPDSurvivor @Eve7 @Shaz51 @tyme @oceangirl @Emelia8 @Snowie @hanami and others following -

Sorry i haven't been on here. I haven't been well. on strong meds for my diverticulitis and they're making me feel horrible. i have just phoned my GP to ask if i can stop them. I can only imagine how much damage they are doing to my gut.

I sent an email to my psych last week and she called me last night. I am feeling flat, excessively thinking and obsessing about my weight/body. She said that when i see her tomorrow we are going to focus the whole session on body image etc.

She told me about a hospital in the city that deals with eating disorders but i don't want to go. i am also in the middle of the legal aid support and letter to my previous employer. And also in the middle of a victim of crimes compensation. I will be assigned a case manager soon and they will help me go to the next step of this process.

Our home internet is still not fixed. three weeks now in our new home and still Telstra is not helping. i have written two letters now to the ombudsman and they are requesting telstra to fix the issue. each time telstra call me i am not home and when they promise they will call again at a certain - well they dont!! This has been now 6 times and i am sick of it.

still waiting for phone call to go back to panel beater and fix car with correct colour parts.

everything just seems to be getting to me atm. I am worried and stressed also with medibank as to how much info the scammers have. i received another email the other day.

xmas presents all wrapped now and under the tree. just have to buy last minute food, fruit and veggies.

i hope you are all doing okay at this crazy time of year.

take care all xxxxxxxxxx
