What does OK look like?

There is a movie starring Billy Crystal which depicts a successful white collar worker who over a period of time finds himself in a rut. This rut gets him depressed and disallusioned with life, family, and his worth in general. Yes, the movie is City Slickers. The important thing to learn is that the secret to life is just 1 thing. Mitch learns what that 1thing is for him, and gains a new, fresh perspective on life, family, and what is ok for him.

Many of us struggle with this question on a daily basis. Those of us who are perfectionists have the added bonus of self saboutage making our standards and what is ok in life unattainable. Recognising that our own standards are flawed, we need to go back to the movie, and determine what our one thing is. Discover what is important to you, focus on that, and the rest will fall into the peripheral vision. It becomes ok because it is just not important enough to us to take up our time.
