Something’s not right

snxiety

snxiety

so so anxious. kids are away, it was a difficult send off this morning and my lil girl was clingy and worried. i'm so scared for them and about everything else as well. been one of those weeks where everything has gone a bit wrong as well. but it has been good to have our new dog (Dusty) here with me.

Still struggling to concentrate and cant even distract myself for longer than a few minutes. driving me crazy.

wish i were stronger, and that the world was fair and put children first

Re: snxiety

hi @utopia

thanks for writing, you're right. i get lost in the guilt and negatives.

sometimes... i realise i am actually a good mamma, its like this massive shock that goes through me when i have that thought, then i get so angry at everything that is going on! i dont deserve the level of scruitiny that i am under because i have mi. but... its more complex than that as well.

Then i just get lost in those little things, or big words from reports/things said by my ex/things my head tells me! caught up in everything that needs to be done, things im late with, and a massive old pile of shoulds jumps on as well.

ive been trying so hard for such a long time now to learn how to manage everything better. i wish i could just get it right. at least mre often.

realising that noone can help either. which makes me feel more alone, but also that ive not worked hard enough to do it. i don't know.. but then what is just the low stuff talking and what is really real i dont know.

sorry

Hi @Appleblossom

yes... i'm not sure who came up with kids naming things. your kids sound like my daughter when it comes to naming things. Everything when she was little was named as it was, her fav teddy was called 'teddy' and her doll was 'baby'. (still are actually!)

i hope you get a pet soon so i get to hear a name lhaha

Re: snxiety

You are one of the most thoughtful mamma's I have come across @Former-Member

I only wish you could see this more than 'sometimes'. Every thought and action I have seen on these forums has been to benefit them.
