Heck no @Lee71 !!! You have certainly not offended me in any way. 🌹 I have been a bit preoccupied with a few things today I guess, so I am sorry I havent been here more than I have been.
Been on the phone to both my Dad and my Brother, and they are concerning me somewhat. Dad is unwell, my Brother is not in a good space. He has PTSD from the accident in which he lost his daughter, and gets suicidal at times. He wrongly blames himself for the accident, even though it was not through anything he did or did not do. It was just freaking rotten luck, or fate which caused a tragic chain of events that nobody could have foreseen. So yeah, I am worrying about him.
I read your post about the Melissa Ethridge concert, and why you dont feel you could ever have gone again. My heart breaks for you ... that would be such a profound and emotional connection to that time, and reminder of who you lost in baby Jesse. Although time may fade the pain of loss somewhat, you never stop feeling it.
I hope you are taking care on your beach outing. Is this the 200 steps one that you mentioned yesterday? Sounds like hard work in the cold, so I hope you are rugged up appropriately.
I have been to a few concerts too, though never to Melissa Etheridge. I do love her music however. I have been to a Cliff Richard concert when he came to Australia ... way back in the 1980's I think it would have been. Also to a Jon English concert. Went to Sydney to see Barbra Streisand concert in around 2000 I guess. And went to the big Stadium Tour concert of Andre Rieu when he came to Australia in 2005 (I think). Both Barbra and Andre were huge! Plus I have been to a few Musicals ... The Lion King in a Sydney theatre about 12 years ago. And the Jon English Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas (Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado, HMS Pinafore). They were great fun, and had lots of stars playing the various parts.
How are you today @NatureLover ? I hope the worst of your depression is beginning to lift somewhat. 🧡💚💜💛
