Re: Trying to stay Sane

Hi @outlander

I'm ok thank you. Just soaking in the bath which gives me an opportunity to check in here 🙂

A lovely day again and bed soon. How about you, are you ok?

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Soaking in a bath sounds lovely @Anastasia did you have busy day?
Im hanging in there. Managing damaged nerve symptoms that are a little overwhelming but doing my best. Just trying to distract myself

Re: Trying to stay Sane

I'm sorry that doesn't sound good at all @outlander

Yes a busy day, too much of everything good. Food, food and more food. Making every minute count with Mum and Dad. Had a power nap before dinner and making the most of this big bath every night. I'll miss it as I don't have a real bath at home. Bf bought me a blow up one which I'm grateful for but it's a nuisance to blow up each time. Brought my fennel oil so.i smell like licorice and bf is sneezing 😳 A better day for my boy but he still called me a dozen times and still messaging now.

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Im sorry about your boy @Anastasia sounds like his anxiety and reliance on your taking up some thoughts. He will be ok though. Maybe he will have a look into those supports as well. Its great to he has you. I know it can be tiring sometimes though.

Thats kinda cute that your bf brought you a blowup pool. Im sure your enjoying a proper bath though. Is it a spa bath? I love those but cant stay in water to long though.

Are you out exploring tomorrow or a quiet day where your staying?

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Hello @Adge I've been trying to see where to send you a message and I couldn't so here it is. Hope that's ok?

I just wanted to say I'm sorry you are in lockdown. It does sound difficult and a little over the top! I really hope it end at the original end time and you can go back to "normal". I have family there also in lockdown, neighbours perhaps. Keep taking care my friend 🙏🤗🐦

Re: Trying to stay Sane

My bf is very cute, very protective and a very kind soul to who he cares about @outlander

My boy said yesterday he didn't realise how much he relies on me for sompany/support. He'll improve its just a very long road but to think how far he has come is nothing short of a miracle. I think this year will bring about significant changes for the better 🙏

Yes it's a spa bath. We are on the second floor so it overlooks the property and is stunning. I don't have the bubbles on now as Dad said he could hear it on the first night and they are in bed. Guess I should get out as Im turning into a prune lol.

Tomorrow brekkie, wineries and then lunch back here with a rest for the afternoon. I believe it's hotter so might even swim. Forgot to pack sunscreen so must get some as I burn easily as does Dad. Love and hugs and I hope that you can get some sleep beautiful girl. Love you ❤️

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Thank you @Anastasia Much appreciated.

Yes Lockdown was very sudden.

It had already started, when I was notified via email at 6.00pm last Sunday night.

I've lost my Over 50's Fitness Class (cancelled) - When that would have been the first class after 6 weeks break.

My Gardening Service cancelled & Postponed Service for 2 months - When I had already waited 2 months since last.

Total 4 months wait now.

I have waited 4 months for my Neurologist appointment (hospital) next Monday 8th February - if Lockdown is extended (very likely) then my Neurologist appointment may be cancelled.

My left hand/ fingers were numb from nerve damage - The Neurologist appointment is to find cause & get treatment.

So I've taken some hard Hits/ Major Setbacks- in just one week.

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Good afternoon beautiful @Anastasia 😊💓

How has your day been? More wineries were on your agenda for today I believe. It was quite hot here, so it probably was where you are too. Hope you got in a swim and a nice relaxing afternoon by the pool. Fancy forgetting the sunscreen! I burn very easily too ... so I never forget the sunscreen. And my daily moisturiser has an SPF factor in it too. I tend to stick to shady areas during the heat of the day, and have never been a sunbather as such. Though when I was younger, I played a lot of sport, so getting burnt was somewhat unavoidable sometimes. I suffered for it afterwards though ... bad sunburn can be quite painful. So I hope you got some sunscreen for you and your Dad to use?

How many more days are you on holidays for? I have a feeling you may have said you were going home on Saturday, but I could have that wrong. Wondering if you have heard anything about heart test results? If not, I guess you will get results next week when you're back home again. Hoping results are better than expected. How is your Boy getting along now that you've been away for a few days already? Did he end up joining the Under 25s forums we discussed the other day? If so, I hope he finds it helpful and that having members in his own age group proves to be an advantage for him. As well as perhaps allowing him to feel less lonely.

Had a fairly slow day today. Its allowed me to spend some time with Holly, which is nice. I cant get it out of my head that it may be my last day with her. Hubby has now gone off with his friend across the road to a pub in town. He likes to do so a couple of times a week ... usually Tuesdays and Thursdays from around 4pm for a couple of hours. It does him good to get out of the house when he can. And he is very lucky he has a friend who will take him. So I am spending a little bit of quiet time here at home right now. Something I havent had the chance to do in about a month, due to all the travelling and being away lately.

I hope you have another lovely dinner tonight. Perhaps you picked up a nice bottle of wine from one of the wineries you visited today, and can have it with your meal this evening?

Anyway .. I'm missing you very much. I know you're around, but I dont like to disturb you while you're on a break. So my apologies for posting now. Please dont feel you need to respond though. It can wait until you get home.

Sending you all my love.

Emelia 🤗💞🐶
