Hi Everyone, I made a suggestion to SANE to start a thread of insirational quotes for the times some of us who are feeling low or struggling to find reasons to keep going.

well I have to say finding an inspirational quote of the day is hmm difficult if I am being honest as in my true self..

how about.....
treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself..
or if that was your brother..sister..mother..best friend....treat others in the same way....
feel how you would be in their shoes...old saying..gold saying...

@Maggie you are a valued member of the forums, please try not to be so hard on yourself, people put too much emphasis on offering something other than our time and kindness, things come and go, but kindness and friendship lasts a lifetime. it means more to others than we can imagine.

@Maggie you certainly are of a huge value here and offer so much support to many even when you are struggling yourself
your selfless actions show how valuable a person you are as @Jacques mentioned you underestimate yourself.
as I consider you a true friend and value your friendship I will say to you start practising liking yourself..
it is very hard to do after a lifetime of being self critical I know myself only too well.
I practise when I remember to.
