What books would you recommend

Hi everyone. I wonder if some of you could recommend any self help books. I'm working with my psychologist, but would like to help myself a bit more.
My MI is depression and anxiety. I've never been great at coping with stress. I'm not sure I was ever really taught how to cope with stress when I was growing up & I probably didn't have the best role models.
Would love to know what books you would recommend and why.
Thank you

Hi utopia. I grew up on Enid Blyton. However I'm now interested in historical novels. I'm presently enjoying the 'Flowers In The Attic' set. V.C Andrews write incredibly well. What sort of books interested you as a child. Are you into 'who dunnit's?' Do you enjoy Agatha Christie. Anything that holds your interest would be beneficial.

Thanks @Former-Member that would be great. My local library doesn't really have anything on depression and anxiety. It all appears to be about mums and bubs and dementia (the demographics of our town). lol.
Maybe I should look up some CBT or ACT therapy book.
