My experience on being triggered

My experience on being triggered

I get triggered when i am not happy. I think it comes from losing my mental health 10 years ago. I hold on to everything trying to be happy all the time. I read the cause of triggers is when the inner world is not the outer world. I read that to deal with triggers, you need to accept responsibility for your reactions. The way to shift your emotions is relaxing, clearing your mind of all thoughts, be aware of your body and then focusing on a word that describes how you want to feel. I welcome any thoughts.

@NatureLover

It is not easy at all, but it gets better with time. There will be an occasional relapse here and there, but with lesser frequency. I hope it will vanish soon in time and I will be healthy as before. It's only a phase and I am sure I will recover fully.

@Everan

Thank you for your post on trigger. It's the same advise that I get from the health professionals. It's funny that I get triggered when I am at my most relaxed/half asleep state. I couldn't believe it either, but strange things happen.
