im up, have had bloods done this morning, had breakfast, meds, spoken to my daughter before she left for school and am just getting ready to go to my first group session. I’m pretty anxious. Got a fidget toy to take with me. I even put my eyebrows on!

I’ve been here almost 6 hours and so far I’ve told my story 4 times to 4 different staff members. Feeling like a broken record.

This hospital is in a bush setting but the weather inside is cold and I haven’t brought enough warm clothes so I might resort to wearing my dressing gown which I did bring.

The pdoc was quite thorough and pleasant enough. I said I didn’t want to stay long and she said an average stay was 3 weeks but we could discuss it after a week so I’m here for at least a week.

My meds are going to be increased and a prn has been added. So here we go round the mulberry bush again…

My knitting has been taken from me but I have my laptop as well as a new journal.

I can’t think of anything else to say except lots of love to you all.

Hey @Eve7 glad to hear that you have arrived ok. I’m sorry that you’ve had to share your story so many times already and sorry that your knitting was taken from you.
The nurse that did my bag inspection was not very thorough, but I don’t think I have anything I’m not meant to. I was allowed to keep my painting and other craft stuff, my iPad and phone and cords and my chai!
Im in a suburban area and there is a mall about a 10min walk away, so hopefully I will be able to get some leave at some point.
