Lockdown has its moments but I did say out loud to my boy today it has its advantages too...such as no traffic.

Yes, no traffic is a side benefit of lockdown.

@Eve7 I do enjoy the swimming. I was in hospital when they were here giving birth to my boy so missed out on seeing some live 😄

We are so lucky to have the venues we have here as a result, especially the swim centre at Homebush.

I have a niece who was born during the marathon so her parents missed out too @Anastasia I was there at a few events with h.

I was one of many at the record crowd at the Sydney 2000 olympics on the evening Cathy Freeman won the gold medal in the 400 meters. Wow .... that was really something.

I was there that night @Emelia8 !! Best night of athletics ever and I saw her win silver in Atlanta.

I was seated at around the 150 meter mark, half way back. Here is a pic I took of Cathy Freeman about to come out of the stagger at around the 150m mark. And the big score board with the record crowd number on the same night. It was all such a memorable night ... just wonderful.
