This day is almost over. Another year without my precious baby girl.

I hurt today as much as I did on that awful day so many years ago. My arms still ache to hold and nurse my princess.

The hardest thing about having since lost my husband is that he was the only person who shared that same loss.

sh and si have been high today as have the flashbacks. I will survive this day as I do every year. Maybe God didn’t see me fit to be a mother of a girl and I’ve been so afraid He’d Take my boys too.

Now I have granddaughters and daughters in law. I should be more than grateful yer the ache in my soul lingers for my darling HG.

i am so sorry, unfortunately grief does not go away,it sits with us I think forever, particularly deep grief like the loss of a child. Sometimes it may not seem to be so dominant. , but nothing can take the pain of that loss away.
