Hi @outlander I hope your day has been ok.
My day has been totally overwhelming with tests and checklists and pdoc laying out several restrictions he wants me to follow. I feel a bit like I’ll be on parole. Enough about my day.
How were the horses today?

Yes he said they would change and that it will be up to me although he stressed that he was doing all he could to see me well again.
We had torrential rain here on the weekend too. Ts good that people will let you know if the horses are distressed and I’m glad you’ve had a break.

He is really caring @outlander and I am lucky to have him. He’s come in to see me several times out of hours and never once told me I was being a jerk.
We didn’t have any rain today so I hope my garden isn’t flooded. Has your rain stopped yet?
Thank you so much for your kind words. It’s so easy to think we don’t matter when things are tough for an extended period but we do matter. You are a wonderful person.

no rain hasnt stopped here and we still have severe weather warnings till about 2am tonight/ tomorrow morning. i really want to go down and check the horses so straight after my appt tomorrow ill be going down there. its suppose to stop raining by about 3am. i can deal with mud and puddles but i cant deal with spooky horses in the rain and wind. it gets too dangerous.
thank you, your a wonderful person too xo

I already knew pdoc through work but I didn't know him that well and it's been hard to be really honest with him. I knew that he was genuine and caring so I asked for him. The first week I was here I was on an anti psychotic that made me really sick to theoint that all I did was vomit and sleep. I tried it again with better anti nausea drug but the result was the same so there's some awful drugs there. I have an injection now and that works better.
I know how hard it is to find a good pdoc and because of work I just about know them all in my area and even those who bulk bill so that has helped I can recommend them at work but not here.
The weight can be tricky and I'm a bit overweight too. Some meds just make you so hungry and as much as I say it's what we put in our mouth that puts on weight.....easier said than done. No one wants to lose weight by feeling nauseous though so I think your doc was very unprofessional.
i hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. xox
