Good morning @Eve7 , and apologies for not responding yesterday. 😊
Sounds like your yesterday was pretty busy .... morning run, breakfast with friends, fruit and vege shopping, movies, swim. Feeling tired at the thought of it all. I did very little yesterday myself.
Little Holly is doing okay I think, still very obviously sore. And this morning she has a sore tummy. I'm thinking she may be constipated after the anaesthetic. I havent seen her 'go', since her surgery. Although I may not have noticed either, as she tends to go right down the paddock to do such things. Anyway ... I have given her a couple of gentle tummy massages to help relieve things a little. And hopefully things will 'pass' in their own good time.
So, after such a busy day yesterday ... what are your plans for today? Family over for Sunday lunch perhaps? I think I read somewhere about the athletes you train having competed yesterday or the day before as well. How did they go? Makes me think of the movie 'The Coolangatta Gold' about the Iron Man triathlon competition. Did you see that movie by any chance? It had Grant Kenny in it. It was so sad about he and Lisa Curry's daughter dying last year, I believe of an eating disorder.
Another big week at work for you starting tomorrow? Are you enjoying the recruiting work you're doing now? And is this likely to be a long term thing, or only a transitional thing? How many more weeks of the ECT's on Wednesdays?

Hello @Snowie love and hugs back to you 💕🌻
@Eve7 enjoy your day, it sounds like fun, big congratulations on your team and their success. You are obviously a very talented coach. They are lucky to have you. Do you play a sport yourself? I am so in awe that you run. x Yes home now. Back to work tomorrow.💐🌷
@Emelia8 you're a good Mum to Holly, anaesthetic is horrible in that sense. I hope you have a restful day 🐾🐕🌷

Hi @Emelia8 ,
I am finally back home and about to ook dinner. Realising now that I have done way to much this weekend.
Today I went to church and then to see the movie, Penguin Bloom. Movie was excellent but it's a "tissue job" which can be therapeutic if you tend to bottle things up.
Mykids did well on Friday night and I was very proud of them all for their efforts and loyalty to their crazy coach.
I dont do the competitive stuff anymore but do fun runs sometimes. I'm ot fit like I once was and get my competitive juices fired up watching my squad compete.
Work is ok with recruitment happening for new casuals then I'll do staff training for a while. I'm on a secondment and don't know whether I'll return to my other position. I wonder why I am still working and now that my life is filled up again with coaching, comps and social stuff I'm back where I was this time last year and still struggling with sh and depression.
Enough about me. I hope you, Holly and hubby are doing ok today. It's really hot here and I had better get dinner happening.
Lots of love

Welcome home @Anastasia
I hope your own bed is very comfortable tonight and that your boys have settled down.
I'm in awe of my athletes and their dedicated parents who have remained loyal, worked hard following programs when I couldn't be there for them and so now thay are reaping rewards.
I don't compete any more, just run with friends every Saturday and do a few fun runs. My life is rapidly returning to a crazy pace again and I'm not sure that's a good thing. Time will tell I guess.
I hope your week at work starts off well tomorrow.
Lots of love
