Hi @tyme I’m ok but very tired. Just drinking coke as I have a lot to do for Passover.

No it’s not catholic @tyme . I decided that my grandchildren had too much chocolate one Easter and I wanted them to understand what Easter was all about.

We do a Jewish Passover and tell the story of the children of Israel leaving Egypt and how God spared their firstborn sons. We also act out the plagues but then we tie it into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection so the whole family gets to celebrate all that Easter means and how it came about.

Passover is a lot of work but it means that my kitchen gets thoroughly cleaned at least once a year! I slow cook the lamb so when finished the meat just falls off.

Some people say that the old testament is 'too violent', but I totally get why you want to instil values into your children/grandchildren so it's not all about chocolate!

I’ve had a good day @Snowie spent at the beautiful home of niece’s in-laws on NSW nth coast. My sister was there too attending the Blues Festival. No amount of cajoling could convince me to go with them..too much noise and too many people not to mention the traffic!!! I’m home safely and sound eating chocolate for tea!!
