I believe you still need to consent to ECT @Eve7 it is still a choice you need to make hon. Pdoc can encourage it, say it would be best for you, but at the end of the day you still need to consent to it.

Yes @NatureLover and things are better. I am out of the public hospital and I wasn't "forced" into having ECT as my asthma prevents me from having an anaesthetic.

I was discharged on the condition that I attend groups at the private clinic weekly. This will involve some travel but is better than what I was facing. My new meds seem to be a good fit too.
