Thats fair enough @Eve7 Sometimes just staying in the present moment is enough.
Are you watching anything good on tv at the moment?
I started watching a documentary on David Beckham. I'm not really into soccer but the first few episodes have been really good.

That sounds interesting about David Beckham @Snowie What are you watching it on? I’m about to watch Gardening Australia.
The strawberries sound yummy. S1 took Miss 6 strawberry picking last weekend but I didn’t get any.

It is on Netflix @Eve7
I haven't watched Gardening Australia before. Is it a good show? Reminds me I need to jump on the ride on and mow my lawns!
We have a strawberry picking farm near my house. I normally don't pick them, just buy them. Never go on weekends however, it is so busy. Where I live there are a lot of fresh produce stores around.

I Watch Gardening Australia to get inspired but that rarely happens @Snowie I love seeing peoples gardens.
We have plenty of fresh produce here too so I try and avoid the supermarket by buying meat at the butchers and bread at the bakery as well as fruit and veg at the markets. Costs a bit more but I spend less overall as I’m not tempted to buy all the extras.
it’s good to meet you @Melbcoffeesnob

I look at my garden and there are so many weeds. I really need to get out in it but never do @Eve7
I find the fresh produce so much tastier than what you buy at the supermarket.
We don't have a butcher but hoping we get one soon.
Was going to go to the local market tomorrow morning. They have a lot of fruits and veg for sale there.

That's actually a really good point @Eve7 about spending a bit more but in the long run, not having to spend more on the shimmery/glittery things that are good for us.

We have the most beautiful meat from an organic butcher @Snowie Its ridiculously expensive if I buy it for a family do but if it’s just for me it’s cheaper than eating out.
I shop a lot in individual stores as I like to support the local business owner. I’ve even changed to a small family owned chemist.
Yes @tyme I spend much less overall and get better quality. I’ve also vowed to stop buying books and going to the library instead.

We used to have a butcher but they closed down @Eve7 I am hoping a new one opens up at some stage.
I go to a small chemist too. It's nice when you go in and they know you by name. It's sometimes the small things that count. I like supporting local too.
I just brought 2 new books last week!!
