It can be a hard decision to make @Eve7 I certainly keep changing my mind too. I think that is a normal reaction to have, especially when it affects others around us.
Perhaps a phone consult on Monday might be useful for you.
Have you got any plans on for this afternoon?

Just working on Stayin alive for now @Snowie
I keep trying to convince myself I’m not sick enough and I just need to “snap out of it” and on with the big girl pants but it doesn’t work.
How about you? Do you have anything on?

I think we all feel that way at times @Eve7 Mine is normally 'others have it worse than me' and 'i'm taking up a bed'.
Sometimes we need to try and get through the mindset. It sounds like your pdoc knows what they are talking about. Perhaps if things are not working than it might be time. Sometimes we need to put that trust into others.
I am just counting down the hours until I can go to bed. [removed by moderator]

Hey @Snowie just wanted to stop in and check in with ya. Sounds like you're having a rough one still. Want me to sit with you a while?

I'm sorry @Jynx
shouldn't have said that

That's okay @Snowie it's been fixed up (not by me, I just wanted to check in). What's happening for you? Up to you if you wanna chat about it of course, whatever is most helpful 💜

just having a bad day @Jynx not worth it, it doesn't change things.

That's fair @Snowie. I do always say, "What's shareable is bearable", but sometimes it can also have the opposite effect and cause us to dwell too long in unpleasantness. You know your needs best. Did you wanna chat about something else? Happy to hang out with ya if you like, or I can just hang out on standby and you can tag me later if you wanna chat 😉

I'm struggling to find things that want me to keep going @Jynx They seem small in comparison.
I know the norm, the hubby and kids need me. That seems to be the comment everyone gives me. Doesn't matter if it is a helpline or my psych/pdoc.

I imagine it would get tiring after a while to hear the same thing @Snowie. We can become numb to things that get too repetitive too. As important as they are in your life, I think sometimes living just for others doesn't feel like enough. We gotta find the reasons to live for ourselves, too.
A friend of mine told me her story, she said she was determined to end her life, but had a moment where she said to herself, "If I can find just one reason to live, I won't go through with it." She said that she had the thought, 'well, I do like marshmallows...'
So on that day, her life was saved by marshmallows. She's thriving now, and I'm so grateful for it. I guess the reason I'm sharing this is, maybe you could find even some small pleasure or joy that could help get you through today?
