Halt, @ms_37
Please stay strong,
Suicidal behaviours and tendencies can all be overcome and prevented.
You need to recognise that you are not your thoughts, this character creating the drama that's the one that needs to die, NOT YOU, many of us here have been through this kind of thing and overcome it, so you want real help then please listen and understand this.
Overcoming suicide is not about leaving the body but rather, it is about overcoming the "self" that causes the drama and suffering in the first place,
It's a paradox, that we give ourselves the answer to suicidal behaviour when we tell ourselves "I want to ___ myself" because thats precisely what we need to do is to overcome the "self" / character saying those things and enquire and question into them, that little "me" which is a personality construct we have picked up and created overtime, it's not who we really are, yea things may be tough but pressure on coal is what makes diamonds.
This is an issue of identity, who you define yourself to be, the story of you, yes ok we made some mistakes in the past, we messed up, things got shitty, but so what, each rung on the ladder was part of the journey and you will look back on this time in years to come as another rung on the ladder, and you will be glad you chose not to leave the body.
When we are learning to walk and we fall over, we don't just stay on the ground do we?
We get ourself off the floor, dust ourselves off, and try again until we can.
The present moment is always a life raft out of any troubles because the past and future don't exist right now, they only exist in the mind as memory and imagination, the present moment is always a blank canvas to paint what we want.
Please know, No storm lasts forever and you are going through a transformational period,
There is a reason and purpose for all of it, even if you can't see it yet.
No caterpillar ever became a butterfly without the darkness of the cocoon first.
Stay safe, everything will be ok, breathe.
Peace,
Namaskaram,
