Something’s not right

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

I always seem to have moods that fluctuate - I could be feeling ok, or content, then I get depressed, or vice versa. No reason behind it most of the time. Yes I have a Psychiatrist and am on meds. And no this post isn't for attention and sympathy, just needed to vent I guess.

It just seems like whatever I do and say and how much I try to be a good person and support people, I'm not good enough and am left out - there's always people better. I'm a failure. I try my best.

I'm just worthless and many other negative things, sigh.

@Lee82 @Zoe7 @outlander no but who cares.

It would be best if I just go.

@Former-Member I'm sorry I upset you and apologised so many times, it was just a misunderstanding. As for tagging yo in another thread, I thought it was this thread. I didn't mean to trigger you by tagging you there.

Can we all just put it behind us please? @Bunniekins and others here

Re: Depression (not a post for sympathy & attention, just venting)

@Former-Member It is apparent that people do care as they have posted here to you but no-one can make you see that but you.

I am going to be very honest here but it is for your benefit and also for the sake of other members - one apology is enough and continuing that on today is not moving on and putting it behind us.

It is very obvious that you have a pattern of wanting to run, wanting to go when you feel you have over stepped or hurt someone - it takes greater courage to stay and work through things to be able to move on. I am thinking very much of you here and how we can work together for you to gain the greatest support and the most benefit out of your interactions on the forum. Stating you think it is best if you just go pulls at others emotionally. You have every right to be here as you do to go if you choose but that has to be your decision and yours alone. No-one else can make that decision for you and it also should not be reliant on what others think for you to make that decision.

I get that you are hurting, you are feeling very alone and needing connections and support - we can provide that for you - and it will come in spades - there is no need for you to leave but there is a need for us all to be able to move on from such conflict - that goes for all of us and can only be done if whatever has caused that in the first place is left where it belongs ....in the past.

I hope you take this as what it is intended - a helpful hand to guide you and further help you be part of this community in a meaningful and filfilling way . You deserve the same respect and support as each and every member but you also have to work with us to achieve the greatest benefits for being here. I am more than happy to guide you, support you and encourage a healthy balance here @Former-Member because as I have said before to you - you are very supportive of others and very empathetic and that is a great basis for developing longer term and lasting connections ...the rest is up to you.

@Former-Member thank you.

@Zoe7 I've already moved on, I just wanted to apologise one more time. I won't anymore.

Are we all friends now? @Lee82 @outlander @Former-Member @Bunniekins & others

@Zoe7 @Lee82 @outlander @Former-Member I guess I'll stay but it just feels awkward for me

That is something you need to work through @Former-Member and we can help you do that but it will also take time. I will suggest what others have already done before - maybe sticking to just a couple of threads for now - build up a rapport with a few members, let them support you, get to know each a other a little more then branch out further once you feel more comfortable. Sometimes quality is much better than quantity.

yes @Zoe7 , I know that. I did mention I've already requested for most of my posts to be deleted except 2 (I want this one deleted too) and emailed the mods
