Thanks @Former-Member - I try to make people laugh sometimes - but I do like owls

My owl story is different - but the short story is that on a gloomy cold day and old man where my Gran used to work took me into the stables and covered me up with a hessian sack and told me to be very quiet.

After a while the mice came out to play and the barn owls started to swoop silently into the stables and catch the mice - it was breath-taking and all too soon the man came back and took me into the house where I was given the jar of buttons to sort again. I would have been maybe 4 years old and wanted to see the owls - and it is a wonderful memory

Thanks @Zoe7 - I am trying to get to sleep earlier and therefore wake up earlier - but no - I had to fuss around - I could not settle - until I gave up and took something for my aching back. Even so - for some reason my sleeping was disturbed. Just one of those nights

But ah - great - it's Monday morning again - and yes - I got an early text from the hair dresser reminding my appointment is on Thursday - Thursday - and my hair is getting annoying -

But it is nice to have someone wish us a good night's sleep - thanks
