No worries @blue Bells, thanks for controlling buting. AH was gifted, even though he struggled with depression & the loss of a child... himself. A man of integrity. Think the word respectable could be used in place of decent. Hi @Faith-and-Hope, PRESENT MOMENT teaching is ancient & behind current Mindfulness trends. Even Jesus said 'one day at a time' or something to that affect. When we really do it the burdon of FUTURE worries & PAST pain, much tension melts away & today bwcomes manageable. 🙂

Yes Tawney - the present moment is the ONLY moment anyone can do anything.
The past is gone- it can NEVER be relived. Effectively it is dead.
Tomorrows thought may never eventuate. Only now can shape tomorrow'... Only now can a problem be solved. Only now can happiness come...
If we turnaround the letters in " now" - we get "won"!- You can only win NOW!
The book " The Power of Now " is good. Also " The Secret"...😊
