QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

A TIME FOR EVERYTHING
There is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under the sun.
A time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time for decay and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones, a time to gather,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

Hi @Faith-and-Hope, good to see you. Still waiting on image. I just love THE CYCLE OF THE BUTTERFLY. Its so symbolic of resurrection, and the beauty that emerges, wow. Fragile yet strong, and who doesn't want wings? We all secretly want to defy gravity & be a joy to those around us.
How you doing at home, WH relaxed a little?

Yeah ... love those little guys .... 😏

WH doesn't know how to relax in his current state @Former-Member .... he's off out on his second jog for the day at the moment.

I'm relaxing ... 😊

Watching a history program on TV at the moment - "Who do you think you are ?" It traces the family history of famous personalities. This one is about Robin Gibb of The Bee Gees. I didn't know they were from a family of Scottish weavers. There you go .... learn something every day .... ❣

Love the Bee Gees, Glad to hear you're relaxing. Just wrote a little speel on my x hubby on sundayfunday thread. He's a troubled man. I really admire you staying with yours, but guess i didn't have a choice re child safety & my girl. History now.

Re: QUOTES THAT SETTLE MY MIND

Yeah @Former-Member, I'm sure you were doing the best you could with the circumstances, and that's where I'm at too ....

Had to weigh up last year whether I should have been leaving with the kids for our mental and emotional safety, but we managed to find ways to settle his behaviour down and establish some boundaries. It's certainly not ideal, and we have a long way to go, but like this now it's at least do-able.

It's still affecting everyone, including D3 at the moment, but any other way we turn is likely to be a lot worse, and not fix anything besides ....

Just got to keep swimming in this direction for now.

FYI - in your position I would have done what you did ...

❤️🌷
